Introduction / はじめに
Akihabara can be a confusing place to walk.
There are too many shops, too many genres, and too many directions to go.
At first, it feels like you need a plan.
But once you start walking, you realize something.
You don’t actually need one.
That realization made the whole walk feel lighter.
This time, I didn’t plan much.
I just wandered around Radio Kaikan and Chuo Street,
and thought I might stop by one place at the end.
That was all.
秋葉原って、どこから歩けばいいか迷う街だと思う。
お店は多いし、ジャンルもバラバラ。
最初は、ちゃんと計画を立てないといけない気がする。
でも、歩き始めてみると気づく。
意外と、何も決めなくても楽しめる。
そう思えたことで、気持ちが一気に軽くなった。
今回は特に細かいルートは決めず、
ラジオ会館と中央通りをぶらついて、
最後に気になる場所へ寄れたらいい。
それくらいの軽いプランだった。

Best Walking Street in Akihabara / 秋葉原のおすすめ散策ストリート
This is one of those Akihabara walking routes you can just follow and enjoy, even without a plan.
ノープランでも、そのまま歩くだけで楽しめる秋葉原のルートのひとつ。
Starting from the Station / 秋葉原駅からスタート
The moment you step outside, it already feels different.
There were many international visitors,
some even filming with camera setups attached to their phones.
And at that moment, I felt it.
Alright, let’s make the most of today
It felt less like sightseeing and more like capturing the moment.
駅を出た瞬間、秋葉原の空気。
この日は外国人も多く、カメラを装着したスマホで撮影する人も目立っていた。
観光というより、
「この瞬間を残しに来ている」感じ。
そして、その瞬間にふと思う。
さあ、今日も遊び倒すぞ。

どこに行くか迷ったら、とりあえずここ。
フィギュアやトレカ、ホビー系が一つの建物に詰まっている。

全部見ようとせず、気になるところだけ軽くのぞくくらいでちょうどいい。
Wandering Chuo Street / 中央通りをぶらつく
Walking here, even small moments feel unexpectedly fun.
After leaving Radio Kaikan, just walk.
No fixed route. Follow what interests you.
Inside a gacha shop, I saw a family watching their kid spin a machine.
When the prize came out—“Wow!”
Same reaction, no matter where they’re from.
歩いているだけで、ちょっとした出来事が楽しく感じる。
ラジオ会館を出て中央通りへ。
特に目的は決めず、気になるものを見ながら歩く。
ガチャショップでは、外国人の家族連れが
子どもに回させて、出た瞬間に「ワーオ」。
国籍関係なくリアクションが同じ。
As you walk, different shops appear naturally.
For example, animate.
Even a quick visit shows what’s trending right now.
Small detours are part of the experience.
You’ll also find places like Surugaya, where people quietly browse cards and collectibles.
歩いていると自然といろんな店が目に入る。
例えばアニメイト。
少しのぞくだけでも、今のトレンドがなんとなくわかる。
こうした寄り道も楽しさの一つ。
駿河屋のように、じっくりカードやグッズを探す場所もある。
Eating While Walking / 食べ歩き
Akihabara is a walking city.
Food you can eat with one hand fits perfectly.
Keep moving, keep exploring.
秋葉原は歩く街。
片手で食べられるものは相性がいい。
歩きながら楽しめるのがちょうどいい。
Final Stop: NIKKE Store / メガニケストア
And since I made it here,
I decided to seriously look for something I wanted.
せっかくここまで来たからには、
本気でグッズを探すことにした。

A few small finds along the way — some I had been looking for, and some I discovered by chance.
- Magic: The Gathering pack (Lorwyn) — hard to find locally
- “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” capsule toys — Rimuru figure & rubber mascot
- NIKKE acrylic stand (River Relio) — finally found it
- NIKKE anniversary badge gacha — spun it as a memory
Small purchases make the experience memorable.

It Became Night / 気づけば夜
Before I knew it, it was already night.
I had planned to leave earlier,
but I ended up enjoying the day all the way through.
気づけば街はすっかり夜。
本当はもう少し早く帰るつもりだったけど、
今日も楽しみ倒してしまった。

I didn’t plan everything.
I walked, stopped, looked, and followed what caught my attention.
And somehow, time passed and the city changed.
Maybe this kind of experience deserves a name.
Let’s call it Walkihabara.
最初から細かく決めていたわけじゃない。

それだけなのに、気づけば時間が過ぎて、街も変わっていた。
