I arrived at Kaihin-Makuhari Station and started walking toward Wonder Festival 2026. The event experience begins before you even reach Makuhari Messe.
海浜幕張駅に到着。ここからWonder Festival 2026へ向かいます。 駅を出たところから、少しずつイベントへ向かう空気が始まっていました。
Leave large luggage behind
If you are carrying a large bag, using a coin locker before heading to the venue can make it much easier to move around the event. Coin lockers are also available around Makuhari Messe, but leaving large luggage behind early can make the walk and the event itself more comfortable.
大きな荷物があるなら、会場へ向かう前にコインロッカーへ預けておくと動きやすくなります。 幕張メッセにもコインロッカーはありますが、駅で大きな荷物を減らしておけば、会場までの移動もイベント中もかなり楽になります。
On the way to Makuhari Messe, signs help guide visitors toward Wonder Festival. Once you find them, the route to the venue is straightforward.
幕張メッセへ向かう途中には、ワンフェス会場への案内表示があります。 これを見つければ、あとは会場へ向かって進んでいけばOKです。
Welcome to Wonder Festival
After walking from Kaihin-Makuhari Station, I finally arrived at Makuhari Messe. From here, the atmosphere quickly changes from a trip to an event.
海浜幕張駅から歩いて、いよいよ幕張メッセに到着。 ここから一気に「移動」から「イベント」へと雰囲気が変わっていきます。
Seeing the Wonder Festival sign at Makuhari Messe made it clear that I had reached the event. Before entering, there was also one more useful place to check.
幕張メッセに掲げられたWonder Festivalの看板が見えてくると、 いよいよイベントに来たという実感が高まります。 入場する前には、もうひとつ確認しておきたい場所もありました。
Lockers are also available at Makuhari Messe
If you still have luggage with you, coin lockers are available at Makuhari Messe. Walking around Wonder Festival can take hours, so reducing the amount you carry before entering the halls can make the day much more comfortable.
海浜幕張駅で荷物を預けなかった場合でも、幕張メッセにはコインロッカーがあります。 ワンフェスでは長時間会場内を歩くことになるので、 必要のない荷物はここで減らしておくと動きやすくなります。
I reached the entrance gate and entered Wonder Festival. Once through the gate, the real exploration begins.
入場ゲートに到着し、いよいよWonder Festivalの会場内へ。 ここから本格的な会場探索が始まります。
At the entrance, I received an admission wristband and a cooling pack. The cooling pack was an especially welcome touch on a hot summer day.
入場時にはリストバンドと保冷剤を受け取りました。 夏の暑い日のイベントだけに、保冷剤の配布はありがたいサービスでした。
Explore the Corporate Booths
Major hobby companies filled Wonder Festival with new figures, prototypes and elaborate displays. I walked through the corporate booths to see what caught my eye.
ワンフェスの企業ブースには、新作フィギュアや試作品、 さまざまな展示が並んでいます。 今回は実際に会場を歩きながら、気になった展示を見て回りました。
A closer look at the figures
FuRyu featured a wide variety of figures, including familiar characters presented in distinctive designs. It was one of the booths where simply looking closely at each display was part of the fun.
FuRyuでは、さまざまなフィギュアを見ることができました。 おなじみのキャラクターを特徴的なデザインで楽しめる展示もあり、 ひとつずつじっくり眺めていくだけでも楽しめるブースでした。
One display that stood out was an Evangelion character figure dressed in a kimono-style design. Familiar characters can feel surprisingly different when presented with a new theme.
中でも印象に残ったのが、着物姿で表現されたエヴァンゲリオンのキャラクターフィギュア。 よく知っているキャラクターでも、テーマが変わることで新鮮な印象を楽しめます。
NIKKE figures are coming too
One of the pleasures of Wonder Festival is seeing items before they reach regular hobby stores. While exploring the booth, I also found an upcoming figure from NIKKE.
一般のホビーショップに並ぶ前の商品を見られることも、 ワンフェスならではの楽しみです。 ブースを見て回っていると、今後登場予定のNIKKEのフィギュアも見つけました。
A large area packed with displays
AmiAmi Hobby Camp occupied a particularly large area of the hall. With many different items gathered in one place, it was the kind of booth where you could easily spend time browsing.
あみあみホビーキャンプは、ホール内でも特に広く感じたエリアのひとつ。 多くの展示がまとまっているので、 ひとつずつ眺めながら歩いているだけでも時間を使えるブースでした。
Wonder Festival is not limited to scale figures. As I continued walking, I also encountered character plush items and many other kinds of hobby merchandise.
ワンフェスで楽しめるのはスケールフィギュアだけではありません。 歩いていると、キャラクターのぬいぐるみなど、 さまざまなホビーアイテムにも出会えました。
Leave room for unexpected discoveries
You may arrive with a list of characters or companies you want to see, but wandering through booths you do not know can be just as rewarding. Wonder Festival is full of things you may not have expected to find.
見たいキャラクターやメーカーを決めて参加するのももちろんおすすめですが、 知らないブースまで少し寄り道してみるのもワンフェスの楽しみ方。 予定していなかった展示との出会いがあるかもしれません。
Discover the Independent Dealers
Beyond the large corporate booths, Wonder Festival has another world to explore: independent dealers displaying and selling their own creations. Walking from table to table, the variety quickly became part of the fun.
大規模な企業ブースだけでなく、 ワンフェスには一般ディーラーによる展示・販売エリアがあります。 卓から卓へと歩いてみると、それぞれまったく違った作品が現れ、 その多彩さ自体が楽しみのひとつになっていました。
03TOYS
Booth 3-07-08
Familiar characters can appear in a very different setting at the independent dealer tables. At 03TOYS, Street Fighter characters including Chun-Li, Ken and Ryu immediately caught my attention.
一般ディーラーの卓では、よく知っているキャラクターにも 普段のショップとは違った形で出会えます。 03TOYSでは、春麗、ケン、リュウなどのストリートファイターのキャラクターが目を引きました。
FUJIYAMA SANKAKU
Booth 2-35-19
At Fujiyama Sankaku, Blue Archive character garage kits were lined up in illuminated display cases. Even within character figures, each dealer had a noticeably different presentation and style.
フジヤマサンカクでは、ブルーアーカイブのキャラクターガレージキットが 明るい展示ケースの中に並んでいました。 同じキャラクターフィギュアでも、ディーラーによって展示方法や作風が大きく変わります。
MJS GARAGE KIT

Then came something completely different. MJS Garage Kit featured animals, characters and humorous creations, including a pair of boxing kangaroos. This kind of unexpected discovery is part of what makes wandering the dealer area so entertaining.
そして、ここでまた雰囲気が大きく変わります。 MJSガレージキットには動物やキャラクター、ユニークな造形が並び、 中にはボクシングをするカンガルーの姿も。 こうした予想外の作品に出会えることも、一般ディーラーを歩く面白さです。
MOKEI TANTEIDAN

Wonder Festival is not only about character figures. Mokei Tanteidan offered another kind of discovery, with model kits covering vehicles, military subjects and more. The further I walked, the broader the event began to feel.
ワンフェスはキャラクターフィギュアだけのイベントではありません。 模型探偵団では、車両やミリタリーなどの模型が並び、 また違ったジャンルを見ることができました。 歩けば歩くほど、ワンフェスというイベントの幅広さが見えてきます。
You never know what you will find next
These four dealers were only a small part of the halls. From famous game characters to unusual original creations and model kits, the independent dealer area kept changing as I walked.
今回紹介した4件は、広い一般ディーラーエリアのほんの一部です。 有名ゲームのキャラクターからユニークな造形、模型まで、 歩いていくたびに違ったものが現れるのがこのエリアの魅力でした。
Earlier entry gives you more choices
I entered around 1:00 PM and still had plenty to enjoy, but some items had already sold out. If buying a specific garage kit or limited item is your priority, arriving earlier will give you more choices.
今回は13時ごろからの入場でも十分に楽しめましたが、 すでに売り切れている商品もありました。 特定のガレージキットや限定品の購入が大きな目的なら、 より早い時間から参加するほうが選択肢は多くなります。
There Is More to Discover Than Figures
While figures and garage kits are at the heart of Wonder Festival, the event also offers special exhibits and hands-on experiences. Walking through the halls, I found several areas that showed another side of the festival.
フィギュアやガレージキットだけでなく、ワンフェスには体験型のコーナーや 特別展示もあります。会場を歩いていると、造形イベントならではの ちょっと変わった展示にも出会えました。
WEAPON EXPERIENCE
Not everything is behind a display case
One area offered a weapon experience where visitors could handle large fantasy-style props. Seeing these oversized weapons up close was a very different experience from simply looking at figures inside display cases.
武器体験コーナーでは、大型のファンタジー系武器を間近で見ることができました。 ショーケース越しに造形物を見るだけではないのも、 ワンフェスのおもしろいところです。
IMAGINARY CREATURES
Step into a world of imaginary creatures
The Kuusou Ikimono Wonder Festival special booth focused on creatures born from imagination. Mythical beings, fantasy creatures and original designs were gathered into one themed area, giving the exhibition a different atmosphere from the regular dealer booths.
「空想いきものワンフェス」の特設ブースでは、神話やファンタジー、 オリジナルの空想生物などがテーマ別に紹介されていました。 通常のディーラー卓とはまた違った、ひとつの世界を歩くような展示です。
There was even a special message post where visitors could write impressions and messages for the creators. It was a small feature, but one that made the exhibition feel more interactive.
「空想おてがみポスト」も設置され、作品を見た感想や応援メッセージを ディーラーへ届けられる仕組みもありました。 見るだけで終わらない、小さな交流の場になっています。
ICE SCULPTURE
A cool-looking creature fighting the summer heat
Another memorable sight was a large illuminated ice sculpture. At a summer event packed with visitors, the slowly melting sculpture was a particularly fitting—and temporary—piece of art.
さらに印象に残ったのが、ライトアップされた大きな氷の像。 夏の会場の暑さで少しずつ溶け、水が滴っていました。 時間とともに姿が変わっていくのも、氷ならではの展示でした。
YOKOYAMA HIRO EXHIBITION
From Maschinen Krieger to original artwork
The Yokoyama Hiro Exhibition was another substantial special display. Original illustrations, design materials and Maschinen Krieger works were presented together, showing the creative process behind a world that extends far beyond finished models.
横山宏展では、イラストやデザイン資料、マシーネンクリーガー関連作品などが まとめて展示されていました。完成した立体物だけでなく、 その背景にあるデザインや世界観まで楽しめる展示です。
WHAT I LEARNED
The detours are part of the experience
It is easy to think of Wonder Festival as an event centered entirely on figures and garage kits. But some of the most memorable discoveries can happen when you wander away from the booths you originally planned to visit.
ワンフェスというとフィギュアやガレージキットが中心に見えますが、 会場を歩き回っていると、それだけではない展示や体験に突然出会います。 目的のブースだけを追わず寄り道することも、 ワンフェスを楽しむ方法のひとつだと感じました。

Take a Break — and Plan for Your Haul
Wonder Festival spreads across several halls of Makuhari Messe. If you want to explore the event broadly, expect plenty of walking. Food, rest areas and support for getting your purchases home can become surprisingly important during the day.
ワンダーフェスティバルは、幕張メッセの複数ホールにまたがる大規模イベント。 会場を幅広く見て回ろうとすると、かなりの距離を歩くことになります。 食事や休憩、そして増えていく戦利品をどう持ち帰るかも、 実際に参加してみると意外と大切なポイントでした。
This is a big event — really big
The floor guide alone gives you an idea of the scale. Corporate booths, independent dealers, special exhibitions and other attractions spread across multiple halls. Trying to see everything means spending a lot of time on your feet.
3つに分かれたフロアガイドを見るだけでも、会場の広さが分かります。 企業ブース、一般ディーラー、特別展示などが複数のホールに広がっているため、 全体を見ようとするとかなり長い時間歩くことになります。
There is a place to stop and recharge
A dedicated food area offered both food vendors and seating. After walking through several halls, having somewhere to sit can be just as valuable as having somewhere to eat.
会場にはフード販売エリアがあり、 テーブルやイスを備えたスペースで座って食事や休憩もできます。 広い会場を歩いたあとでは、食事そのもの以上に 「しっかり座れる場所」がありがたく感じる場面もありそうです。
Food does not have to be the main event
If your priority is seeing as much of Wonder Festival as possible, I would not spend too much time on food. A short break can be useful, but using that time to keep exploring may be more rewarding depending on what you came to see.
今回のように会場を満遍なく見て回ることを優先するなら、 食事に大きく時間を使わないという選択肢もありだと感じました。 必要な休憩は取りつつ、その時間を展示やディーラー巡りに使うほうが 満足度が高くなる人もいると思います。
Bought too much? The venue can help
I also found Yamato Transport and Japan Post services inside the venue. Cardboard boxes for shipping were available for sale as well. I did not photograph these counters, but they are useful services to remember if your figures, garage kits or other purchases become too bulky to carry.
会場内では、ヤマト運輸と日本郵便の発送サービスも確認しました。 発送用の段ボールも販売されていました。 今回はこれらの受付自体の写真は撮っていませんが、 フィギュアやガレージキットなどで荷物が増えてしまったときには 覚えておきたいサービスです。
You do not have to carry every purchase yourself
This can be especially useful for travelers. If you plan to continue your trip after Wonder Festival, shipping bulky purchases to your hotel or another suitable destination may make the rest of the day much easier. Always check whether the destination can receive your parcel before sending it.
特に旅行中の参加者なら、大きな戦利品をすべて自分で持ち歩く必要はありません。 ワンフェスのあとも移動が続く場合、 宿泊先などへ発送できればその後の行動がかなり楽になります。 利用する際は、送り先で荷物を受け取れるか事前に確認しておきましょう。
You can still enjoy a lot in the afternoon
I entered at around 1:00 PM and was still able to explore corporate booths, independent dealers, special displays and other areas. For a broad sightseeing-style visit, an afternoon entry can still work well.
私は13時ごろに入場しましたが、 企業ブース、一般ディーラー、特別展示などを幅広く見て回ることができました。 特定の商品を最優先するのではなく、 ワンフェス全体を体験してみたいなら午後からでも十分楽しめます。
Earlier is better if shopping is your priority
Some merchandise had already sold out by the time I arrived. If a specific limited item or dealer product is your main goal, earlier entry still gives you an advantage.
一方で、私が入場したころにはすでに売り切れている商品もありました。 限定品や特定ディーラーの商品購入が大きな目的なら、 やはり早い時間からの参加が有利です。
What Came Home With Me
After walking through the halls, checking out the displays and exploring Wonder Festival from corner to corner, this is what came home with me.
会場を歩き回り、さまざまな展示を見て楽しんだ今回のワンフェス。 最後に、今回持ち帰った戦利品をまとめてみました。
Shofuku Inu
One item I brought home was a miniature called Shofuku Inu. Wonder Festival is full of figures and models, but sometimes a small and unexpected item ends up becoming your souvenir from the day.
今回持ち帰ったアイテムのひとつが「招福犬」。 大きなフィギュアや模型がたくさん並ぶワンフェスですが、 こうしたちょっと気になった小さなアイテムが、 その日の思い出になることもあります。
Not everything in the haul was something I bought
I also brought home an AmiAmi Hobby Camp bag, a fan and other printed materials from the event. Free items and event materials may not be the reason you visit, but they become a nice record of the day once you get home.
あみあみHobby Campのバッグやうちわ、 会場でもらった印刷物なども持ち帰りました。 こうした配布物はイベントへ行く一番の目的ではありませんが、 帰宅してから見ると、その日の記憶を残してくれるちょっとした記念品になります。
A good haul does not have to be expensive
You can certainly come to Wonder Festival looking for rare garage kits or limited merchandise, but buying expensive items is not required to enjoy the event. For me, most of the fun came from walking, discovering and experiencing the venue itself.
ワンフェスでは、レアなガレージキットや限定商品を目的に参加する楽しみ方もあります。 でも、高額な商品を買わなければ楽しめないイベントではありません。 今回の私にとっては、会場を歩き、いろいろなものを発見し、 実際に体験したこと自体が大きな戦利品になりました。
My Wonder Festival Tips & Final Thoughts
After spending the afternoon walking through Wonder Festival 2026 Summer, I came away with one clear impression: there is no single right way to enjoy this huge event.
Wonder Festival 2026 Summerを実際に歩いてみて感じたのは、 この大きなイベントには「こう回らなければならない」という ひとつの正解はないということでした。
Afternoon entry can still be a good option
I entered at around 1:00 PM and was still able to enjoy corporate booths, independent dealers, special exhibitions and other areas across the venue. If your goal is to experience Wonder Festival broadly, rather than chase one specific item, an afternoon entry can still give you plenty to enjoy.
私は13時ごろに入場しましたが、 企業ブース、一般ディーラー、特別展示などを幅広く楽しむことができました。 特定の商品を最優先するのではなく、 ワンフェス全体を体験してみたいなら、 午後からの入場でも十分楽しめると感じました。
A later start may help you avoid the hottest wait
For a summer event, entering later may also help reduce the amount of time spent waiting outside in the heat. That can be worth considering if your priority is exploring the venue rather than being among the first visitors inside.
夏の開催では、少し遅い時間から参加することで、 炎天下で長く待つ時間を減らせる可能性もあります。 朝一番の入場にこだわらず、 会場を見て回ることを中心に楽しみたい人にはひとつの選択肢です。
Limited items are a different story
Some merchandise had already sold out by the time I arrived. If a specific garage kit, limited product or dealer item is the main reason for your visit, earlier entry gives you a better chance of finding what you want.
一方で、私が入場したころにはすでに売り切れている商品もありました。 特定のガレージキットや限定品、 一般ディーラーの商品購入が大きな目的なら、 やはり早い時間からの参加が有利です。
Choose your priorities — but leave room to wander
Wonder Festival is large enough that trying to do absolutely everything can quickly use up both your time and energy. Choosing a few priorities first makes sense, but leave some room for wandering. Some of my favorite discoveries were things I had never planned to see.
ワンフェスはとても広く、 すべてを完璧に回ろうとすると時間も体力もかなり使います。 まず見たいものをいくつか決めておくのがおすすめですが、 少し寄り道できる余裕も残しておきたいところ。 今回印象に残ったものの中にも、 最初から見る予定ではなかった展示がいくつもありました。
Next time, I want to start before I reach the venue
The next Wonder Festival is scheduled for February 13–14, 2027. After experiencing the event this time, I realized that enjoying Wonder Festival starts before you even arrive: choosing where to stay, planning how to reach Makuhari Messe and deciding what you want to see first can all make the day easier.
次回のワンダーフェスティバルは、 2027年2月13日・14日の2日間開催が予定されています。 今回実際に参加してみたことで、 ワンフェス攻略は会場に到着してから始まるものではないとも感じました。 近隣ホテルをどう選ぶか、幕張メッセまでどう向かうか、 そして会場で何を優先するか。 事前準備によって当日の動きやすさはかなり変わりそうです。

Before the next Wonder Festival, I want to take what I learned here and build a practical preparation guide: where to stay near the venue, how to get to Makuhari Messe, what to prepare before leaving your hotel, and how to plan your day depending on whether your priority is shopping, figures, dealers or simply exploring.
